There is a tournament April 5th in LaCrosse! Yes I know this is MinnesotaFoosball.com, and LaCrosse is in Wisconsin, but LaCrosse is cool and this tournament is always a lot of fun. For more information see:

The Minnesota State foosball championships are coming! The tournament will be November 26th thru 28th at Blainbrook Bowl in Blaine, MN. What a great chance to play against the best players in the state (and world). If you havne't played in a regional-sized tournament before, this is a great opportunity to see what the foosball tournament scene is like. Good news: It's safe to be outside without freezing. Bad news: No more tournaments at Brine's. Thanks to Mike Whalen for running things over the winter. Hopefully it will start back up again next winter?

Next Sunday May 2nd, Don Swan (many-time National, Masters, and World Champion) is hosting a Pro Clinic followed by Super Singles tournament at Bogart's. For those looking for tips on how to improve at foosball, this is an awesome opportunity to learn from one of the best players in the world! The pro-clinic is free and starts at 12:30. The super singles will start at 2 and costs $10 for beginners, rookies, and semi-pros, $15 for pros, and $20 for pro-masters. What more could you ask for? Oh yeah, a free drink with all paid entries!
And the following weekend, May 7th and 8th (that's right, a Friday/Saturday tournament so your Sunday is still open!) Mury and Foosline.com is running the GoldenGate Internet's Super Singles tournament. Click here for the flyer.
So you can go to Mankato this weekend to see what you need to work on. Next weekend go to Don Swan's pro clinic and get your game fixed up. And the following weekend put your new skills into practice at GoldenGate Internet Super Singles and maybe even win $1000 !

Congrats to Jared Taggart who won both 1st and 3rd place in the Halloween Warmum tournament at Bogarts last night. Jared and Cooper won the event, with Stiner and Cory taking second, and Jared and Terry Simcox taking third. Also a big thanks to Mike Phillips for putting the tournament together, and everyone who helped keep things going!Good luck to everyone going to Green Bay next weekend for the Halloween Open!!

Welcome to MinnesotaFoosball.com!! I've made some changes to the web site. The Points Book will now let you filter based on player's membership expiration date. To use it, go here and click the checkbox next to the expiration (enabling the filter), and enter the date you want to filter on. You'll only get back players with membership expirations later than the date you entered. Thanks to Mury for the suggestion!
In addition to that, I've added a chart to calculate player winnings from the Bogart's DYP (Dillon was doing this by hand every week and I don't want to see him stuck doing that forever!). Check the DYP Results Archive
here. In addition to the totals, it will track a "Monthly Winner" based on who has won the most money each month. Once you've been a monthly winner, go to the message boards here to brag about it!!!

Last night at Bogart's, Missy Rue carried Steve Mohs to win the DYP. This is the third straight week that Mohs has won! The first 3-peat in Bogart's history (since I started keeping track 9 weeks ago)!!! Can anyone stop him? Tony beat Louis Cartwright for the kingseat and again in the finals to win.
