- **Beginner Friendly BYP!**: Any team with at least one beginner will have the Appleton point spot system. (1 point the first game, 2 and the ball in the 2nd if they've lost the first, and 1 point in the third game). Let's keep these games fun and competitive.

The DYP will be split into an early bracket and late bracket if there are over 20 entrants to minimize conflicts and ensure a timely completion.

As Jimmy's closes at 1 am, I want to ensure we finish before close some 2/3 games to 4 pt's may be required in the loser's bracket of the DYP to ensure a timely finish. If you cannot make it by 4:45 for the bring, but can make it before 5:30 pm, contact Skip to let him know you're coming and you can still enter the bring. (Call to enter by 7:00 if you can still make the second bring by 7:30....).

What is a Vampire DYP?

It was suggested independently by John W and Bill W given the Lott's Revenge and Bar Hack formats that 'penalize' pull and snake shooters. Here's another format that incentives depth in your game that lets you take it out on EB's pull kick (if you choose.....).

At the coin toss, each team picks a forward and goalie restriction....'sucking the blood' out of their opponent's offense.

Your opponent bans one offensive shot or series (from your entire team) and one goalie shot or series. The restrictions are enforced on both players of that team (if they choose to switch positions).

The player that wins the coin toss discloses their restrictions second.

-3rd game switch up- If a match goes to a third game, the teams must pick NEW restrictions for the final game. (e.g. Jacob would get his rollover back and perhaps his opponent takes away his stick passes).

Examples of acceptable restrictions: Forward: - No stick pass series - No brush pass series - No 5-bar shots - No pull-kick series - No roll-over series - No pull series

Goalie: - No set passes - No set pull series - No slingshots - No bank shots - No set push series

Examples of UN-acceptable restrictions: Forward: - No passes - No shots with the right hand - No close-handed shots Goalie: - No passes - No open-hand shots

This is only the second time we've run this event. It will hopefully allow for some fun strategizing and encourage players to add some depth to their game. Now grow some fangs and aim for the jugular!
