About the event

THESE EVENTS ARE ON HIATUS DUE TO COVID-19 UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Events are held EACH Saturday at Jimmy's Pro Billiards, but we are now presenting our Third Saturday of the Month tradition:

Super Saturday Singles and Draw!

What: Single Foosball Tournament with a Draw Your Partner Doubles Tournament to Follow

on 4 T3000 Tornado Tables

When: 7:00 PM Saturday 3/21

(each 'third' Saturday of the month)

Singles Sign Ups Start at 7:00 close at 7:15.  Matches start thereafter

Draw Your Partner Sign ups Close at 8:00 pm.

$5 entry for Singles tournament (optional entry for beginners)

$10 entry for the Draw Your Partner Tourney ($5 for beginners)

Handicap for new players!

Players who have NOT won a foosball tournament will have the following point spot:

They (or their team) will be up 1 point in the first game.

If they lose the first game, they are up 2 points (and start with possession) in the second game.

If they win the first game, they are up 0 points, possession going to the other team (who lost the last game).

If it proceeds to a third game, they are up 1 point (possession going to the team that lost the last game).

TD's: Josh B will be running the Singles event; Jared W will run the draw.

Format: Expect Matches to be best 2/3 double elimination, with the following modifications based on larger turnouts:

Singles more than 16 players: Best 3/5 single elimination (pro format)

Draw Your Partner more than 22 players: The draw will be split into two smaller brackets.  An early bracket (10-14+ players) of those already eliminated from singles, and a late bracket (10-14+ players) perhaps still in the singles event.  This will eliminate conflicts.  Whether the two brackets meet for a Super Final will be up to player interest/TD discretion/and time.

Rounds of Race to 7 in the loser's bracket will be at TD discretion to keep the tournament running.
