About the event

The primary public weeknight foosball event in the Twin Cities.

We regularly run a Monster Draw format tournament to ensure a timely finish of the event and ensure everyone gets lots of time to foos with different players.

What: Monster Draw Your Partner Foosball Tournament

When: Wednesdays

7:30 pm sign ups close 7:45-8 pm first matches

Where: Jimmy's Pro Billiards 4040 Central Ave N Columbia Heights MN

The Monster Draw will run on the Kickertool software

Qualifying Rounds: Different partner each round. Games to 7 points.  Players can join in after 7:45 if they arrive late, but may not be guaranteed 4 rounds.

10 pm or after 4-5 rounds: Top 8 players are drawn into a Single Elimination 4-team bracket. (2/3 to 5)

(number of players entering the final playoff varies by turnout: 11 players or fewer may be 4-6 players; at 12 or more it would be top eight for four teams).

Winners advance to final.  $10 entry fee; $5 entry for new players.

Handicaps:

Beginners are given a 1 point spot in the qualifiers and the appleton handicap system in the playoffs (if they advance).

If a team is composed of 'two goalies,' their shots from the back will be 'make-it-take-it.'  If they score from the two or goalie rod, they get the ball back and point...they could score 7 straight from the back without the opposing team touching the ball!  (Fire away, goalies!)

Wild card round!

With over 16 players: The lowest seed in the 4 team playoff will play one game to 5 against a DYP team of those with lower records. Thus all players have a final chance to make it in the playoff after the qualifier, but the top 6 players are guaranteed in.
